Turf Products

Cultivated turf allows you to enjoy a lawn of instant beauty and maturity without the inconvenience and time-consuming problems of seeding.  We pride ourselves in following a strict rotational cycle of sowing to ensure our fields are not over-harvested, and leaving a rich healthy soil on which to grow.  With more than 400 acres to look after, the presence of an on-site reservoir gives a constant supply of water, something which is essential for summer irrigation.  We use modern, efficient machinery for optimum performance, from well-maintained delivery vehicles to a ‘Vax’ (to pick up all those acres of grass cuttings).

Our most popular turf is ‘Tournament’ - a quality turf especially suited to high usage areas with its resilient characteristics. This hard-wearing turf maintains good colour under most weather conditions and is great for garden requirements, park areas or even sports pitches.

For a finer lawn we recommend ‘Superlawn’ suitable for light leisure use in areas such as bowling greens.

A low cost option is our ‘Economy’ turf which can be a downgrade of either of the above.

Here at Burnell Farm we are lucky enough to have our own reservoir which enables us to consistently cultivate and irrigate.
